Cardinal Community Academy

CCA Student Council is composed of 9 Intermediate students - three from each class in grades 3-5. These students have been elected by their classmates and must maintain superior academic and behavioral qualities. They are the leaders of CCA and strive to leave their mark in education as role models for younger students. 

Student Council members learn leadership and accounting skills through maintaining a school store, surveying the student body and selling the items voted upon by the students. They also sponsor two community outreach projects each year - 

• Giving Tree in November and December where Christmas gifts are collected each year and donated to Weld Elves, an organization sponsored by the Weld County Sheriff Department to help families in need during the holidays 
• Pink Out in October to support Breast Cancer Awareness - CCA has donated nearly $600 in the last two years to Hope Lives!, a Weld County based organization supporting local breast cancer survivors/patients and their families
   

Student Council also assists with the annual Veteran's Day Assembly and supports CCA's amazing staff during Teacher Appreciation Week in May every year.

These young leaders are well on their way to becoming outstanding citizens in their communities.
