Letter From Administration

Parents,

Yes, it is official—the 2025–2026 school year has come to an end. Wow, what an incredible final week of celebrations!

Our Kindergarten Graduation was spectacular. Mrs. Diller does such impactful work, continuously leaving her mark on students and families. Mrs. Diller, your red lipstick and your love for students will forever be part of the many memories here at CCA!

Likewise, Mrs. Johnson and our middle school team have had an extraordinary impact on the lives of our 8th graders as they transition to high school. To know each student so well and to be able to assign each one a character trait that fits them so perfectly is simply a reflection of the genuine relationships you build with your students.

As I reflect on these events—Kindergarten and 8th grade—I do not believe it is just a coincidence, but rather a divine reflection of why CCA is such a special place. Mrs. Diller welcomes our new students to the best charter school west of the Mississippi, while Mrs. Johnson sends them off with hearts full of memories about what it means to be a Cardinal.

Cardinal Country, there are so many other memories hidden in my heart that will forever be a part of my life. The last four years have deeply impacted me as an educational leader, and I am forever overwhelmed by the grace of God to have been part of such a special place. There is no other place that I can recall that exemplifies the true meaning of love. As I have said many times, CCA is truly a home away from home.

I am forever thankful for the incredibly passionate and professional staff, the unwavering support of our parents and community, and the unending devotion of our students to education. Not only do they exemplify a love for learning, but their desire to be citizens of character reflects the heart of the Cardinal community.

Again, I am forever thankful and overwhelmed to have been part of the best charter school west of the Mississippi. I wish you all the best, and Godspeed as CCA continues to leave its mark on the many people who will continue to be part of this incredible community.

May you have a blessed summer, and yes, our school is in great hands with Mrs. Lisa Cole. Lisa, I thank you with my whole heart for all that I have learned from you. You are an incredibly passionate and compassionate educational leader, and I can firmly say that you are called for such a time as this. You will leave your mark as you continue to pour your heart into—yes, I will say it one more time—the best charter school west of the Mississippi!

Let’s go. Be blessed.

With love,
Mr. Archuleta

From the Board

"Happy Friday CCA! We reached the end of the year! Thank you to all of the staff for everything you do and for a great year! Thank you to the parents for all of your time and dedication, as well.

We are happy to announce that Lisa Cole will be our Director for the 2026-27 school year! Lisa has the full support of the Board, and we are excited to start planning for next year and to see what great things are in store.

Jerry Archuleta is moving on to a new position that will put him closer to home. We can't express our gratitude for what Jerry has accomplished in his time at CCA and most of all, the time and effort that he dedicated to our school. Jerry came into CCA at a tough time in our history and hit the ground running. He showed up every day and faced all the challenges that were thrown his way. He has been steady and calm in the hard times and has been the embodiment of optimism and joy in the good times. He has left his mark on CCA, and we will forever be grateful for that. We appreciate the lasting impact that he has had and wish him all the best in his future endeavors. Mr. Archuleta, please come back and visit us from time to time; we would love to see you.

Thank you,

CCA BoD
