Middle School News 5/16

Our 8th grade graduation ceremony is Tuesday, May 19th at 6pm in the CCA gym. Middle school students and families are welcome to attend!

End of Year Reminders
  • All library books or fines must be turned in by Tuesday!
  • Shoot/Serve A Thon Money needs to be turned in by Wednesday. Bravo to the students who participated in this fundraiser!
  • Remember to order your yearbook!
  • Tuesday will be a normal school day and schedule. Students who were absent for any day(s) last week are expected to finish last assignments and assessments on Tuesday.

Wednesday

On Wednesday, middle school students will be going on their PTO sponsored field trip to Laser Fun Center in Loveland.

  • Students do not need a lunch. but should bring a snack to eat prior to our departure.
  • Parents are welcome to attend, but must pay for their own admission/participation upon arrival AND provide their own transportation. Let us know if you plan to join us.
  • Field trip departure is not until 9:45am. Prior to our departure, students will participate in our annual Peach Fuzz event.
  • Students will return by 2:30pm and will go to their normally scheduled elective.

Thursday

Our last full school day is filled with fun social opportunities for our students, and departure tasks before summer.

  • Locker Clean Out
  • Chromebook Turn In
  • Yearbook signature/message page
  • "How Well Do You Know Your Teachers," game.
  • Powder Puff
  • Nacho Snack Bar
  • Movie or Games
  • 8th Grade Only Auction

** Students must clean out their locker prior to leaving for summer. If your child will not be in attendance on Thursday, they must check out prior with a middle school staff member to ensure all materials have been returned and/or cleaned out.

Friday

See below for the Last Day of School details! Parents will be messaged privately if their student is receiving an academic or character award. Middle school students will participate in field trip stations.
