Letter From Administration

Happy Friday, CCA Families!

The days seem to be flying by - only 16 more school days until the end of the 2025-26 school year. It has been a very busy three weeks since Spring Break, but we want to thank you all for your support as our third through eighth grade students completed state assessments. All sessions and make-up sessions were completed this week. Although we will not see those scores until later this summer, we are very proud of all of our students' efforts. They worked so hard, and we are excited to see the growth they have made. Which leads us to the next round of our end of year assessments. All grades will begin NWEA and DIBELS assessments next week. You should all hear about those results from classroom teachers before the end of the school year. Thank you for continuing to support the education and growth of your children at CCA.

Next week our sixth grade class will be joined by Mr. Archuleta and Mrs. Bates as they venture into the wilderness of Estes Park for Outdoor Education. Teambuildng skills, camaraderie, and lots of fun are on the horizon; we wish them well and anticipate lots of stories when they return.

As we inch our way to the finish line this year, we encourage you to keep an eye out for exciting changes at CCA for next year. The end of a school year always brings tears and laughter, but it is also the beginning of a new adventure ahead for the next year. What wil it bring for you?

Have a beautiful weekend, and enjoy your time together.

Team CCA!

Meeting Update

Our School Accountability Committee met on Wednesday, April 22. We reviewed and discussed the end-of-year survey results. We received 25 responses, which represents more than 14% of our families—an increase from our mid-year survey. Individual concerns will be addressed in a timely manner. Thank you to everyone who responded to this year’s survey.

From the Board

Happy Friday, CCA! We hosted our April board meeting this past Wednesday and have a few updates for you. Our New Building Committee is continuing to work on gathering information to present to the district board with our proposal for a potential Bond. We will present our information on May 20th. The district will be sending out more information on the bond measure overall, and we will be sending out communications on it soon as well.

Also, our Director Search Committee has been working diligently to screen candidates and will be finalizing candidates next week. The final candidates will be interviewed in a public forum which will be announced soon. The committee will send out communication next week with more details. We welcome the CCA community to attend this forum. The board will make our final decision in the days follwing this forum. We hope to see you there!

Thank you,

CCA BoD
