Letter From Administration

Hello CCA Families,

It’s Friday, and with Spring Break just around the corner, excitement is in the air! We hope you’re looking forward to a week of rest and relaxation. This well-deserved break is a wonderful chance for everyone to recharge, and we can’t wait to see our students and staff return refreshed.

As we wrap up this part of the school year, we want to highlight the incredible progress our teachers and students have made. Their dedication to learning and growth has truly paid off. Our support staff, too, plays an essential role in keeping our school running smoothly, and we are deeply grateful for their ongoing efforts. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the entire CCA Team!

Looking ahead, after Spring Break we will begin CMAS, NWEA, and DIBELS End-of-Year Assessments. These are important opportunities for our students to show what they’ve learned. Spring Break is not just a pause—it’s a time to rejuvenate academically, so everyone is ready to finish strong.

When we return, there will only be 28 school days left! It’s amazing how fast the year has gone by. We encourage everyone to savor these last weeks and celebrate the progress and memories we’ve made together. Thank you for being part of the CCA family. We are proud to be part of such a supportive and inspiring community.

Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful, restful Spring Break! We look forward to welcoming everyone back on April 7th. Take care and enjoy the break!

Team CCA!

The updated Strategic Plan was approved by the Board and will be posted on the website once it has been reformatted to match the new document layout.

The End‑of‑Year Survey will be open from April 6 through April 20. A hard copy of the survey, including a QR code, will be sent home to encourage participation. From the Board

Happy Friday CCA!

Happy Friday CCA! We held our monthly board meeting this past Wednesday and worked through a variety of things. We held our Kindergarten Lottery, reviewed policies, reviewed our strategic plan, signed oaths of office, and received updates from our various committees.

Our Director Search Committee will be looking to get the job listing posted in the next few days and begin their work in that area.

The New Building committee is looking to begin work on putting together information to present to the district for a potential Bond measure this fall. We are in the very early stages of planning right now, but will share information of our progress at future board meetings.

The Scholarship Committee is accepting applications until April 10th. They will make their decision on who will receive this years scholarship and present it to them on May 4th.

Our Investement Committee continues to work on the greenhouse project and working on bids for new playground equipment.

Lastly, we discussed several things in regards to our Finance Committee. We voted to increase the base pay of our staff by $1,000, discussed moving money around to capture better interest rates, and discussed paying off a loan that is on the books currently. We are putting an emphasis on making the most of our budget to better serve the needs of our staff and students.

We appreciated everyone who attended the meeting, and hope that we can continue to see more of you tune in for our monthly meetings.

Thank you,

CCA BoD
