Dear Cardinals,
As we wrap up another wonderful six weeks of teaching and learning, we want to take a moment to celebrate our school community. Together, we have achieved remarkable milestones, and we are grateful for the partnership that each of you brings to Cardinal Country.
Our recent Parent Teacher conferences were a tremendous success! We were thrilled to see so many positive conversations centered around student progress and growth. These conferences truly strengthen the relationships among teachers, parents, and students, laying the foundation for a supportive learning environment. Thank you for your commitment to your children’s success and for collaborating with us every step of the way.
Part of our conference includes student performance on the NWEA Map assessments. Therefore, we are also excited to share that our students have shown fantastic performance on these assessments. Thanks to their hard work—and your support—school-wide growth and achievement in Reading (K-8), Language Usage (3-8), and Math (K-8) exceeded the 50th percentile. This accomplishment is a testament to the dedication of our students, families, and staff.
-
Reading (K-8): Fall Achievement 64th, Winter 62nd, and Growth at the 55th percentile.
-
Language Usage (3-8): Fall Achievement 65th, Winter 63rd, and Growth at the 71st percentile..
-
Math (K-8): Fall Achievement 61st, Winter 61st, and Growth at the 54th percentile.
We are incredibly proud of all our Cardinals for their perseverance and enthusiasm for learning!
None of this success would be possible without our dedicated teachers and staff. Their commitment to our students’ success makes Cardinal Country a special place to learn and grow. Thank you to our amazing team for everything you do!
The last celebrations this week included our recent Barnyard Days for our primary grades, and a visit to the Hudson Library for our intermediate grades. These special moments remind us of the importance of coming together as a community to celebrate learning in creative ways.
As we head into a restful week with no school, we wish your family peace, relaxation, and plenty of time together. Please remember that school will resume on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. We look forward to welcoming our Cardinals back, recharged and ready for more learning adventures! Let’s go…
