Letter From Administration

Dear Families,

The excitement is truly building as we continue our cheerful countdown to Christmas! Our hallways are buzzing with laughter, joy, and the wonderful spirit of the season. It fills our hearts with gratitude to witness the happiness of our students each day and to be part of their lives here in Cardinal Country.

This week’s highlight was our annual Spelling Bee, held yesterday. What an amazing display of courage, preparation, and school spirit! Thank you to all the parents who came to cheer on our spellers and for your constant encouragement at home. A special note of appreciation goes out to Mrs. Cole, our dedicated Assistant Principal, for organizing this successful event. We are also grateful for the invaluable support of our Spelling Bee officials: Mrs. April Dowdy, Mrs. Brittney Rupple, Mrs. Crystal Bydalek, and Mrs. Eunice Corral, and emcee: Mrs. Emilee Klausner, who all helped make the day run smoothly.

As we approach the end of the first semester, please remind your students that all assignments and assessments MUST be completed and turned in NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, DEC. 19 in order to earn credit. We look forward to celebrating our honor roll students and character key champions. These recognitions will take place after the holiday break. Stay tuned for more details as we honor our students’ hard work and positive character.

Thank you, parents and community members, for your daily support, encouragement, and partnership. It is truly a blessing to work alongside you and watch our children grow and thrive. Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful and blessed weekend!

With heartfelt gratitude,
Team CCA!

From the Board

Happy Friday CCA! We will be saying goodbye to one of our Board members as we welcome in the New Year. Charlie Klausner came onto the board as a community member 3 years ago. He came onto the board and immediately poured himself into helping in any way he could, and always made sure to show up to school events. He has been a tremendous resource for our school, and has brought forth a wealth of knowledge and information. Charlie took the time to learn and understand any issues that we were facing at CCA and always helped us to address them. He also spent time on the Re3J district board, where he was a part of the team that got Lochbuie Elementary built.

On a personal note, Charlie has always been a great person to sit and talk with. He has lived a fascinating life, and has plenty of stories to tell. He had some health issues this past year, and still managed to show up in person, or call in to most of the meetings. He is a selfless person, and truly cares about education. If you see him around, thank him for his time and dedication to CCA. We all truly appreciate it.
