Monday PE Update 2.09.26
CCA PE CLASS
Flying Together, Stronger Forever
Good morning, CCA!
PE Last Week
-
Students in grades 3–8 had an exciting time during PE this week, participating in kickball matches that emphasized teamwork, sportsmanship, and loads of fun.
-
Students in grades K–2 had a great time practicing underhand throwing with Color Toss and showing lots of encouragement by cheering for one another. We even squeezed in an obstacle course the kids love, using fun movements like bear crawls and Marios.
PE this Week:
-
Grades 3-8: They will complete their shuttle runs and V-sit and reach to finish up the Presidential Fitness Test, which we didn’t get to last week while I was under the weather. Middle school students will also write down goals for their Goal Improvement grading. We’ll then start basketball with a refresher on dribbling and shooting.
-
Grades K–2: Students will participate in fun movement activities including Follow the Leader, Mat Bowling, and balance exercises, all while practicing teamwork and gross motor skills. We’ll end class with a cool-down and reflection in our ‘Cardinal Nest’!
