Monday PE Update 12.15.25
CCA PE CLASS
Move to Soar
Good morning! As the holidays approach, students are soaring through PE with great effort and enthusiasm.
3-8
We recently completed the Presidential Fitness Test, and students showed amazing effort across all events. For this assessment, we adjusted the mile run to a half-mile, and students still recorded some great times. Always proud of their hard work and positive attitudes!
Looking ahead:
This week, as an early “Christmas present,” students will enjoy active free-choice time in PE. As long as everyone is choosing activities that keep them moving, students will have the opportunity to enjoy their favorite games and activities.
K-2
The young Cardinals had a lively class full of movement and energy! They enjoyed chasing friends in “PAC-MAN Tag” to racing in the “Meatball Run Relay,” and even exploring new parachute games.
Looking forward:
Our young Cardinals are looking to compete in another relay called the “Ice Cream Cone Relay,” where they focus on balancing a tennis ball on a small cone while racing and working together as a team. Next, they will play “Snowman Tip Over,” practicing underhand throwing and strategic thinking. Each student will have a bowling pin “snowman” inside a hull hoop spread throughout the gym. They can defend their snowman from outside the hoop, chase after balls if they choose to leave their snowman temporarily unprotected, and can only throw a ball while at their hula hoop.
