Kindergarten News 5-1-26
*Here are the Kindergarten chaperones for the movie theater field trip on May 8th: Karlie Maneotis, Mark Millard, Paige Linnebur, Brittany Miller, Karsyn Herman, Roxanne Kramer & Mariah Huber. I will send home detailed information next week regarding the trip.
*With only twelve school days remaining, the kids are getting more antsy. Mrs. DeJournett and I work hard to keep the day hopping, moving & engaging. In an effort to further encourage good behavior in these waning days of school, purple & teal kids will earn a small extra reward/treat each day during the month of May. ❤️
*DIBELS testing is finished! Next week we will complete NWEA Language Arts and Math Testing on Tuesday & Wednesday mornings.
*The last day of school may be my favorite day of the year for one reason--CCA’s Talent Show! It’s so great watching all the (often hidden) talent our students possess! From dancing, to singing, to joke-telling--it’s definitely a fun & entertaining event. Oh, and Kindergarten will be singing a song as well! If your child would like to enter, please sign-up using this form.
*Don’t forget about the Kindergarten End-of-the-Year Awards Ceremony on the 19th! I’m looking forward to seeing all parents; grandparents are welcome, too! It’ll be a special afternoon, and it all begins at 2:45 in the cafeteria.
*Please consider some type of work for your child over the break; don’t let summer slide happen!
