Kindergarten News 4-17-26
*Can you believe that after today, we only have 20 school days remaining? This year has flown by. I saw a quote the other day that said something along these lines: In August, your roster is a list of names. In April, it’s a list of lives--little ones who brighten & shape your days. Isn’t this the truth? Your little one sure has made a memorable impact on my days and I’ve been so grateful to spend my time helping each of them learn & grow.
*Thank you for returning the Field Trip Permission Slips so quickly. Here are the parents that are chaperoning our Ben’s Pizza/Park/Fire House Trip: Roxanne, Felicia, Tara, Paige, Brittany, Amy, Matt, Katie, Kandi, Jordan, Karlie & Hannah. If I missed anyone who is wanting to go, please let me know.

*I haven’t mentioned this in my newsletters, but you may have heard your child talk about their “workbook.” This is an 80-page book they kids are working through that contains CVC words. They kids write words, sentences, read directions and more! I guided the kids through the first 30 pages and they are now working on them independently. When they finish their workbook, they get to choose from the treasure chest and move to the next workbook, which focuses on silent ‘e’ words. These have been great and are really helping these little ones prepare to be first graders!
Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the information in this week’s newsletter. I’m available through Parent Square or you can email me at stacydiller@re3j.com.
Warmly,
Mrs. Stacy Diller
