Kindergarten News 1-23-26
*The days sure are flying by. Can you believe we’ve been in Kindergarten for 78 days now? It’s exciting to think back to the beginning of the year and reflect on all the growth your child has made this school year. Parent/
Teacher Conferences will be held in February and I’m looking forward to sharing information and data with you at that point. A Parent Square sign-up will be headed your way in the next week or two so you can select a time to visit with me.
*Reminders about Grandparent’s Day/Valentine’s Day in Kindergarten:
-Grandparent’s Day is a special tradition in Kindergarten. Students will enjoy a variety of fun activities and quality time with their grandparents (or special guests). Parents are welcome to stay and observe, though activities will be designed for students and their grandparents.
-Every child needs someone to show up for them, so if a grandparent cannot make it, please plan for another adult to come in their place.
-Our celebration will run from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
-Each child will need to bring valentines for their classmates. A class list is attached to the bottom of this newsletter so you can have your child start writing them when you’re ready.
*Next week is School Choice Week! We are celebrating the fact that you have many choices for your child’s education, yet you put your trust in us to care for your child and their educational success! There will be a School Choice Assembly Tuesday morning and themed dress-up days to help us celebrate all week through. The date list below indicates the dress-up days (no fee required!).
