Kindergarten News 1-9-26
*Wow, what a great week back we have had! The kids hit the ground running and have been joyful and eager to pick right up with our learning. The picture above shows a fun graphing activity we completed yesterday.
*In STEM, Mrs. Baas had the 5th grade class create a project related to the five senses. Since that was a Kindergarten unit of study (back in the fall), the 5th graders will be presenting their projects to us next Tuesday!
*I know we’ve got a while yet before Valentine’s Day, but from the looks of the stores, it’ll be here before we know it! 😂 Please read the details about our Valentine’s Day party, which will be combined with Grandparent’s Day, in the date list below.

*Grandparent’s Day/Valentine’s Day Celebration from 7:30-8:30. Parents, I’ll be serving cinnamon rolls & fruit…you are welcome to stay! The grandparents will be completing some fun activities with their grandchild, including delivering valentines. Your child will need to bring a valentine for each of their classmates (A class list is attached to the bottom of this newsletter so you can start working on them whenever you’re ready.) Your child will also need a box/bag for their valentines to go in. This can be as simple or as fancy/homemade as you’d like! |
