Weekly Ag Update - January 26, 2026
Ag Weekly Reminders:
- Assignments:
- Spring Syllabus: Was due on January 13, 2026 should be signed by parent and student. Attached are copies if you need it, I am still missing half of the class' signed syllabi.
- Linking Animal Science - Domestication Timeline: Was due on January 13, 2026. Most students are missing their 2 conclusion questions (paper 7.2).
- Animal Domestication Baseball Card: Due January 20, 2026. Information is on Google Classroom, including the rubric. Students should utilize the rubric to ensure all information is submitted. The finished product can be emailed to me via Canva or a PDF submitted to Google Classroom.
- Bellringers for 1/7/26-1/20/26 were entered. If your student is missing this, they did not turn it in this week.
- IF you were at stockshow, you received a separate PS. Students are responsible for retrieving this work from the Outdoor Classroom and completing what the class did on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
- A CHANGE (Based on Student Council's choices for dress-up days): On Wednesday, January 28th students can dress up as a cowboy/cowgirl for extra credit (10 points).
- We will continue with the original plan of a cowboy cattle drive cook-out on Tuesday! We will eat traditional cattle drive foods and practice cowboy trades. A sign-up is attached if we can have cattle drive foods donated. Thank you!!
- Ag Student Spotlight:
- Research shows that students who receive recognition and spotlight at school have a deeper connection and engagement in academics. Therefore, to honor and highlight each of the unique attributes and talents of students in our agricultural class we will be sharing a student spotlight every couple weeks during the school year. Each student will get to share their uniqueness! This will be featured in the middle school hallway Ag board and in PS.
- Meet our student spotlight, Addie!
