Overview

Good Morning,

We are a week into semester two and we are already working hard. I am proud of the hard work from this past week and I can't wait to see how this semester goes. Congrats to the honor roll and Cardinal Key winners. I hope to see more of those awards at the end of this semester.

Hopefully we can get our paragraph plans finished in class this week for artifact boxes, so students can start typing. Keep working on the box decoration at home!

Academics

Math:

Chapter 6 is all about connecting multiplication to area. This is a great time to measure things around the house and talk about area in the real world.

Fact fluency: Our fact challenge is underway. Students can earn prizes for passing each level of multiplication 0-10’s.

CKLA:

Vikings continue!

Literacy:

We will read about Viking stories and myths in our readers.

RIGGS:

Tuesday test 140, Wednesday Test 141, and Thursday test 142.

Writing:

informational Writing: Viking Artifact Boxes begin.
