School Performance

Congratulations to our students for earning a PERFORMANCE rating on our School Performance Framework issued by the state of Colorado. This rating is based on the academic achievement and growth of our students. Here are some highlights and celebrations.

  • All subjects in both elementary and middle school indicated scores above the 50th percentile. However, our middle school students scored exceptionally well, as English Language Arts was at the 97th percentile, Math was at the 83rd percentile and Science at the 92nd percentile.
  • These scores earned the middle school an exceeds rating in English Language Arts and Science, and a meets rating for Math. Not too bad considering 14 out of 20 of last year's 7th grade students never completed the entire math assessment due to a testing error. (There's always next year!)
  • A special shout out to our current 6th grade class. As 5th grade students, 70% of the class met or exceeded the state's expectations in English Language Arts, and even more exciting is that their Median Growth Percentile was 80 which exceeds the state expectations for growth.
  • Yes, we still miss last year's 8th grade class! 83% of the class either met or exceeded in the area of English Language Arts (47% actually EXCEEDED) and ALL of our students who took the Algebra I assessment met the expectations.
